Living Hope for Real People

 

People hope in a lot of different things. They put their hope and trust in money, power, relationships, even their church. Hoping in these things will always lead to disappointment and discouragement. The only solid hope we can count on is Jesus. He is the only One worth hoping in because He is living, powerful, and completely trustworthy. He is the only Hope for real people with real problems. When we stop hoping in other people, material things, and in ourselves, we find that He is the answer, and always has been.

1 Peter 1:3-4: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.”

We’re glad you stopped by to see what we’re all about. Lone Peak Bible Church is an independent, non-denominational church in Highland, Utah. We are currently meeting at 5422 W. 10030 N, in Highland UT on Sundays at 10:30am. Our church is trusting the Lord to help us eventually purchase property in the Highland area, but until that time the Lord has graciously opened doors for us to meet in a large remodeled garage and apartment just off of Alpine Hwy in Highland.

Our desire is to help the needs of the community and to help you and your family in any way we are able.
